“Then the Lord God made a woman from the rice He had taken out of the man, and He brought her to the man.”  Genesis 2:22

God appeared on the scene of human history in the role of a “matchmaker.”  What a profound and exiting revelation!

It is characteristic of the Bible’s restraint that it make no attempt to describe the feelings of the heavenly Bridegroom and His Bride (the Church).  No human language contains the vocabulary that would be needed.  This is an area of holy mystery, reserved for the Lord Himself and for those who, by diligent preparation, “have made themselves ready.”

We are glad that you are planning to have your wedding at Glory to Glory Ministries.  The institution of marriage is “serious” business, and should not be entered into lightly.  Therefore, to uphold the sanctity of this institution, and to display the excellent ways of God, certain rules and regulations have been written as guidelines to be followed by the bride and groom.  The wedding ceremony is sacred and should be approached reverently and in the spirit of worship.

First, the bride and groom should arrange for an appointment with Pastor concerning your decision of marriage.  You will then be directed to the Chief Counselor for pre-marital counseling.  Couples must complete pre-marital counseling with the church chief counselor before your wedding date can be put on the church calendar.

Once pre-marital counseling is completed, the bride and groom will be directed to the church wedding consultant to discuss the Wedding Packet and proper procedures for having your wedding at Glory to Glory Ministries.

We trust that your wedding will be one of the high points of your life.  Marriage is an institution ordained by God.  It is so close to God’s heart until the bride and groom is styled as Christ (Bridegroom) coming for his Bride (the Church).
