The Beginning Of Your New Journey

This message challenges us to think beyond our immediate circumstances and embrace a kingdom perspective that spans nations and generations. Drawing from Matthew 28:19, we're reminded that our calling isn't just personal salvation—it's about making disciples of all nations, all ethnicities. The Greek word 'ethnos' reveals that God sees one human race with multiple ethnic expressions, all created from one blood as Acts declares. We're living in a prophetic moment where entire hemispheres are shifting, where governments that once suppressed the gospel are being shaken, and where believers have unprecedented opportunities to advance God's kingdom. But here's the crucial truth: while our objective is global, our journey must begin exactly where we are. Like Dorothy on the yellow brick road, we can't skip the starting point. We must first impact our area of influence—our families, our communities, those closest to us. The psalmist in Psalms 35 shows us something radical: he fasted and prayed for his enemies, for those who sought his destruction. If we're not willing to fast and pray for our own unsaved loved ones, we're not truly on the journey God has called us to. This requires preparation—both of our hearts and our minds. First Peter 3:15 commands us to always be ready to give an answer for the hope within us, but with gentleness and reverence. We can't lead people to truth if we haven't studied to know it ourselves. The call is clear: start where you are, with who you have, preparing hearts to receive the seed of the gospel.
