Deacons/Deaconess Ministry

The purpose of the Deacon/Deaconess is as follows:  “To glorify God as servants of the church, being obedient to God, through serving with the pastor, to minister to the needs of the body of Christ.”   The Deacons/Deaconess of Glory to Glory Ministries will serve the surrounding communities, showing and sharing the love of Jesus Christ.   (Acts 6:1 – 8  &  I Timothy 3:8 – 13)

The primary responsibilities of the Deacon/Deaconess board are to assist the pastoral team in the visitation of the sick and shut in, to make hospital visits and to  provide communion to those who are unable to attend communion services.

Weekly reports will be provided, when deemed necessary, to the Pastor and the Church Administrator in an effort to keep the Pastoral Team informed of the prayer requests and visitation needs within the congregation and their family members.
