September 8, 2021 – October 20, 2021

The Glory To Glory Ministry’s S.A.L.T. Institute is a practical and biblical training program designed to prepare, educate, and equip members for the work of ministry. (Ephesians 4:11-16)  Our purpose is to develop Christian leaders in areas of intense and practical Bible studies, effective evangelism, and character and leadership development.

Outline

Bible and Leadership classes will take place Wednesday evenings from September 8th through October 20th at 7pm. All classes will be held in-person and will run simultaneously, with one session streamed live. The Education Ministry will host Study Time. Which will allow students to get their homework done while parents participate in any of the classes offered during S.A.L.T. Institute.

Sessions

Session One

The Seven Churches of Revelation
Teacher: Elder Billy Chatman Jr.
Location: Main Sanctuary
**Live Stream**

The Book of Revelation contains the prophecies of the last days, before the New Heaven and the New Earth go on into eternity, with believers living for their God with no sin, no sorrow, and no pain. Much of this prophecy is shrouded in description that can be confusing, and many theologians debate the extent of what is symbolic and what is literal in the visions described by John the Apostle.

One such section is at the very beginning, where John addresses the seven churches in Asia – an area in modern Turkey. The Lord Jesus commands John to write a message to each of these churches.

These churches were seven real churches at the time, and some believe they represent seven church ages, while others argue they represent seven church types that have existed since the church began, and will exist until Christ returns.

Session Two

The Way of the Master Basic Training course
Teachers: Elder Gailry Bagley, Elder Ebony Roman & Ambassador Lawanda Richardson
Location: EDGE Youth/Overflow Room

The Way of the Master Basic Training course is for Christians who are concerned for the lost!

Evangelism is not a popular topic among many Christians so we commend you for having the desire to learn to share your faith.

This course shares basic principles that are easy to learn, and benefits will be very evident as you get into the course. You will discover there is no greater joy than to do God’s will-seeking to save what is lost.

No doubt you have your fears and concerns when it comes to sharing your faith, but through the material presented you will discover a newfound courage.

Perhaps you have tried to share your faith in the past and became discouraged or disillusioned by peoples responses.

You will find that using these biblical principles will revolutionize your life and witness.

Each lesson includes a video segment, classroom activities to help apply the teaching, homework assignments and at home Bible study.

  • Classes begin with prayer
  • Share experiences
  • Points to ponder
  • View a Video
  • Apply principles
  • Close in Prayer

Group Activities:

Either a Friday or Saturday meet in a public place, organize and split into small groups to do what we learned in class. We will share both successes and failures to energize and encourage everyone participating.
